02 Building & AI

  1. AI tool mapping musicians' refugee origins

13,000+musicians whose refugee origins it identified and mapped, using Python, APIs and AI

Second project for Dr. Stelios Michalopoulos; enables migration and cultural analysis at scale

  2. Real-time firefighting dispatch system

1stprize: a system that alerts the closest Athens fire station when a fire is reported

Mapped all Athens fire stations; deployed a thermal-imaging, computer-vision drone to assess severity

My second first prize there, after 2022; led the event as Head Organizer in 2025

  3. Machine-learning facial recognition system

1stprize in the team's age category: a model trained on my own teachers and classmates

Designed and trained the model on custom datasets

03 Research

A published sole-author paper, colonial investment data for a Brown economist, and a survey across Athens.

03 Research

  1. Assessing the interplay between stock market value, macroeconomic indicators and firm fundamentals in the European Food Industry

25European countries, 2005–2024: how GDP, sales, profits (EBITDA) and stock prices interact

Granger causality tests and a VAR model trace which variables predict which, and with what lag

Net sales lift stock valuations with a lag; GDP, counterintuitively, weighs on profits

  2. Research Assistant to Dr. Stelios Michalopoulos

Turned historical government reports into datasets on colonial investment in Sub-Saharan Africa

Extracted and categorized data on schools, hospitals, roads and railroads for future mapping

Then, in 2025, built the AI tool mapping 13,000+ musicians' refugee origins

  3. To what extent has the ‘I Move Electrically’ subsidy program stimulated EV market demand in Athens across different income levels?

15Athens municipalities in my bilingual survey of electric-vehicle adoption across incomes

Found demand most elastic among middle incomes; subsidy partly worked, limited by affordability

Compared income groups with Mann-Whitney U and χ² tests

04 Leadership & Service
